Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Hisar, Haryana. This is the highlights of his speech in Hisar Rally :
- 1) I congratulate the youth of Haryana who made India proud in the Asian Games. They are the pride of India.
- 2) The election is in the last leg. I am confident that Haryana will vote in large numbers and elect a BJP government with a full majority.
- 3) Haryana saw good and bad days. Sadly, leaders of Haryana worked for their own families only.
- 4) Some people are dreaming of taking part in elections from the jail, and at the same time also planning to spend their rest of their lives in prison. They are dreaming of taking oath from jail. I do not support criminals and thugs.
- 5) Is this democracy for serving only one family? Don't you want to be free from this parivaarshahi (Dynastic Politics?)
- 6) My government runs on the support of the people of India. I don't need support from jails. I don't need support of mafia.
- 7) BJP is fighting to give development to Haryana. We want to free Haryana from dynastic politics. We are fighting for good governance.
- 8) Did Congress ever give an answer for their work for 60 years? And then they ask us! At least talk about your sins for 60 years.
- 9) Congress Party is misleading the farmers.
- 10) Congress cannot do without 'Kamal'. They have made a man named Kamal an independent candidate.

Prime Minister said youth needed employment opportunities, and development was essential for generating employment. He said the large gathering at the function venue is proof that the people are interested and keen for development. They want to join the whole world on the path of development, he added.
Referring to the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, launched by former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Prime Minister said his Government would ensure irrigation for the farmers through the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana.

भारत की आज़ादी के तीन वर्ष बाद गुजरात (Gujarat) के एक छोटे से कस्बे, वड़नगर (Vadnagar) में नरेंद्र मोदी का जन्म हुआ। दामोदर दास मोदी और हीरा बा की 6 संतानों में से मोदी उनकी तीसरी संतान थे। उनका परिवार बहुत ग़रीब था और एक कच्चे मकान में रहता था। दो वक्त की रोटी भी बड़ी मुश्किल से मिलती थी। नरेंद्र मोदी की माँ आस पड़ोस में बर्तन साफ करती थी ताकि अपने बच्चों का पालन पोषण कर सके। उनके पिता रेलवे स्टेशन पर चाय की एक छोटी सी दुकान (Tea Stall on Railway Station) चलाते थे। मोदी बचपन में अपने पिता की चाय की दुकान में उनका हाथ बटाते थे और रेल के डिब्बों में चाय बेचते थे। इन संघर्ष भरे दिनों का मोदी पर बहुत गहरा प्रभाव पड़ा।

एशिया के सबसे बड़े सोलर पार्क (Asia’s Largest Solar Park) का निर्माण Gujarat में हुआ। गुजरात के सभी गाँवों को इंटरनेट से जोड़ा गया और टूरिज़्म को भी बढ़ावा दिया गया (Tourism has also Promoted)।
Gujarat में Modi की सफलता देखकर भाजपा (B.J.P.) के बड़े नेताओं ने Modi को 2014 लोक सभा चुनावों का प्रधानमंत्री उम्मीदवार (Prime Minister Candidate) घोषित किया। मोदी ने पूरे भारत में अनेक रैलियाँ की जिनमें हज़ारों लोग उन्हें सुनने आते थे। मोदी ने सोशल मीडिया (Social Media) का भी भरपूर लाभ उठाया और लाखों लोगों तक अपनी बात रखी।
उनकी सकारात्मक सोच (Positive thinking) के कारण उन्हें भारी मात्रा में वोट मिले और वे भारत के पंद्रहवे प्रधानमंत्री बने (India ‘s Fifteenth Prime Minister)।
उन्होंने कई विदेश यात्राएँ की और भारत की छवि संपूर्ण विश्व में मज़बूत की। इसी कारण विदेशों द्वारा भारत में काफी निवेश हुआ। मोदी ने पड़ोसी देशों से भी काफी अच्छे संबंध बनाए। मोदी ने जन धन योजना (Jan Dhan Yojna), स्वच्छ भारत अभियान (Clean India Campaign), मेक इन इंडिया (Make in India) और डिजिटल इंडिया (Digital India) जैसी कई योजनाओं की शुरुआत की
वे शुद्ध शाकाहारी (Vegetarian) हैं और नवरात्रों के नौ दिन उपवास रखते हैं। मोदी अपनी सेहत का भरपूर ध्यान रखते हैं और प्रतिदिन योग (Yoga) करते हैं, भले ही वे कहीं भी हों।
